Chemical peels are one of the most widely undergone skin rejuvenation procedures available today. These treatments can be used to exfoliate, refine, and restore the skin while correcting many of the most common skin conditions and signs of aging.
Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, SkinRenewal of Tulsa is proud to provide our patients with a comprehensive selection of chemical peels. These peels vary in both their intensity and the conditions they target, ensuring that there is a peel that could be beneficial to nearly all of our patients. If you’d like more information about any of the chemical peels we offer or are interested in scheduling a consultation appointment, contact us today!
The Vitalize Peel is ideal for patients interested in improving the appearance of their acne and controlling the development of blackheads. The retinol component of this peel also makes it particularly great for addressing cases of mild melasma and acne scarring.
Following a Vitalize Peel, patients must leave on a retinal solution for two hours. We recommend that patients undergo this peel once every six weeks to maintain healthy skin.
The Efface Peel uses a combination of Arbutase, skin lightener, and retinol to address the deep, root causes of acne and melasma. This option is ideal for patients who want to see gradual improvements in their acne without undergoing a more aggressive peel.
Treatment includes an in-office cleansing and peel application, as well as an at-home regimen that includes an anti-redness foaming cleanser, anti-redness soothing balm, sunscreen, intensive recovery moisturizer, and personalized Efface at-home cream.
The Illuminize Peel is ideal for those who struggle with light but persistent acne, or are looking for a way to spruce up their look before a big event. A single peel boosts collagen, improves skin hydration and pigmentation, and exfoliates the skin, improving its overall texture and tone.
Each Illuminize Peel involves an in-office cleansing, extraction, and peel application. We recommend that patients undergo this peel every four to six weeks to maintain a beautiful, youthful glow.
Our most aggressive peel, the Vi Peel is perfect for patients looking to achieve more dramatic, long-lasting results. We offer two different varieties of the Vi Peel — one that targets severe acne, and one that targets the signs of aging.
A Vi Peel includes an in-office cleansing and peel application. The peel itself is typically left on for at least four hours. Once this period of time is over, we provide patients with an at-home regimen that includes a Vi Derm cleanser, a Vi Derm post peel protectant, a Vi Derm SPF 50+ sunscreen, and post-peel towelettes. Typically, patients experience aggressive peeling between three and five days after receiving this treatment. We recommend that patients receiving the acne-targeted Vi Peel receive treatment every eight weeks. While those undergoing the anti-aging Vi Peel receive it once per season.
